Add a white or coloured border from 0 mm to 5 mm. A 2 mm border is the classic look and also gives the blade a forgiving margin on fine detail.
Behind the scenes we build a proper vector cut path, add 2 mm bleed outside it and hold a 2 mm safe area inside it so nothing important gets trimmed.
